Client Management

Cailey Orellana

Managing Partner, Client Management

Cailey Orellana is Managing Partner, Client Management at Wealhouse Capital Management. She focuses on fostering strong client relationships and supporting engagement strategies that align with the firm’s vision. Since joining Wealhouse, Cailey has worked to enhance client experiences and continues to contribute to the firm’s growth. Cailey holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a specialization in Marketing from Carleton University. She is passionate about building meaningful connections and supporting Wealhouse’s client-focused mission.

Alan Moore

Managing Partner, Client Operations

Alan Moore brings over 25 years of financial services experience to his role as Managing Partner, Client Operations. Mr. Moore began his career in the Isle of Man before moving to Canada in 2008. Prior to joining Wealhouse in 2011, Mr. Moore was named Director of Operations at Commonwealth Fund Services. Mr. Moore is a devoted supporter of track cycling and can be often found at a velodrome cheering on Team Canada.

Cynthia Mok

Partner, Client Operations

Cynthia Mok is a member of the Operations and Client Services team.  Prior to Wealhouse, Ms. Mok built her financial services experience from Citco Fund Services,  Computershare, CIBC Mellon, and B2B Trust.  Ms. Mok holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Toronto. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and is fluent in Cantonese. She likes hiking and enjoys Broadway musicals.

Lydia Ching

Senior Managing Partner, Operations & Compliance

Lydia Ching is a founding member of Wealhouse and brings over 20 years of financial services experience. As the Senior Managing Partner, Operations & Compliance, Ms. Ching oversees the firm’s financial, compliance, and regulatory operations. Prior to Wealhouse, Ms. Ching began her career at HSBC, where she managed key relationships between the bank and high-net-worth clients. Ms. Ching holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo.

Chloe Leung

Partner, Operations

As Partner, Operations, Chloe Leung brings over 10 years of experience to the Operations and Client Services teams. Her sharp business acumen helps the Wealhouse team perform harmoniously. Ms. Leung holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree from York University with Specialized Honours in Business Research. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Andy Marchese, CIM, FCSI

Partner, Investment Operations & Trading

Andy Marchese joined Wealhouse in 2017 via Citco and FundEx Investments. Mr. Marchese holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University. He obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2015 and the Fellow of CSI (FCSI) designation in 2020 . As a proud Canadian and true Torontonian, Mr. Marchese is a devoted hockey fan and a staunch supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Fei Gao, CPA, CGA

Partner, Fund Accounting

Fei Gao is a senior fund accountant with over 10 years of experience in investment fund accounting and financial reporting. Ms. Gao came to Wealhouse in 2018 from CIBC Mellon. She has held the CPA and CGA designations since 2016. Ms. Gao holds a Master of Science degree in Multinational Accounting and Financial Management from Reading University in the United Kingdom and is fluent in Mandarin.

Nick Mirjalali

Senior Associate, Investment Operations

Nick Mirjalali joined Wealhouse in January 2024 as a Senior Associate, Investment Operations. He graduated with Honours from the Industrial Engineering program at the University of Toronto and leads our firm’s technology and cybersecurity initiatives. Prior to joining Wealhouse, Nick gained valuable experience working at major technology firms such as Apple and Microsoft. He also served as a Trader on the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Desks at leading banks in Toronto and London, UK.

Sharv Parikh

Associate, Investment Operations

Sharv Parikh is an Associate, Investment Operations at Wealhouse. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in the degree of Financial Analysis and Risk Management. He is also currently pursuing his CFA designation. Apart from his passion for finance, he is a huge sports fan and especially loves soccer (Visca El Barca). He also enjoys spending time outdoors with nature and loves to read.

Stewart Sinclair

Executive Assistant

Stewart Sinclair is a dedicated Executive Assistant with a rich background in administration and office management. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Stewart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Film Studies. Before joining Wealhouse, Stewart accumulated eight years of experience with The Walt Disney Company, where he held various roles across both the United States and Canada. Additionally, Stewart spent five years managing a shared office space, further refining his organizational and multitasking abilities. Outside of work, Stewart has a passion for films of the 1930s and 40s and enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his dog Polly

Andrew Labbad, CFA, MBA

Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager

Andrew James Labbad, CFA is the portfolio manager for the multi-award winning Amplus Credit Income Fund. Prior to Wealhouse, Mr. Labbad worked for 10 years at TD Securities, where he was a Director of Credit Trading. A native of Montreal, Mr. Labbad is fluent in both French and English. Mr. Labbad received his Master of Business Administration from John Molson School of Business at Concordia University and Bachelor of Software Engineering from McGill University.

Michael Douramakos, CIM

Partner, Portfolio Manager

Michael Douramakos, CIM has been working in corporate credit for over seven years, most recently as an Associate Portfolio Manager, managing U.S. IG and global funding for an alternative credit fund at a major Canadian asset management firm. Prior to that role, he served as a Credit Analyst and Trader for a Canadian hedge fund. Michael is a graduate of the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor where he obtained an Honours Business Administration. Michael has been a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) since 2021.

Devon Morrison

Partner, Investment Research

Devon Morrison is a Partner, Investment Research who graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bsc in General Science. With majority of his coursework specialized in physics, and two co-op terms working in marketing and software development with a startup in Toronto, Devon hopes to leverage his STEM background in his research endeavours at Wealhouse. Devon plans to begin the CFA process this year. Outside of work, Devon is a devoted Toronto sports fan, enjoys playing golf, hockey, and takes personal interest in developments in the world of physics and computing.

Justin Anis, CFA

Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager

Justin Anis, CFA is the portfolio manager of Lions Bay Fund, a North American equity strategy, for which he has won 1st place for Best five-year Sharpe Ratio at the 2024 Canadian Hedge Fund awards, as well as multiple BarclayHedge Top 10 Monthly Performance Awards. After starting his career with Wealhouse in 2008, Mr. Anis managed portfolios for SW8 Asset Management and a family office in Oakville, ON before rejoining Wealhouse in 2016. Mr. Anis has been a CFA charterholder since 2012.

Scott Morrison, CFA

Senior Managing Partner, Founder & CIO

Scott Morrison, CFA is a Bay Street veteran with over 30 years of asset management experience. Prior to founding Wealhouse as the Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Morrison researched and managed investments for notable firms such as CI Funds, Investors Group/Mackenzie Financial and Empire Life. Mr. Morrison also sits on the Board of Boardwalk Equities from Calgary after having previous board responsibilities at Timbercreek Asset Management. A keen supporter of philanthropy, Mr. Morrison generously volunteers his time advising various charities and non-profits such as the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) on asset mix allocation decisions.
